The Department, established in 2009, is known for its high quality management education, world-class infrastructure and faculty. Well designed state of the art class rooms computer facilities and a well equipped library are the hallmarks of the department. The department of management studies offers MBA programs on a 2 year full-time basis. The students are provided with an opportunity to specialize in any one of the areas namely Marketing, Human Resource, Finance and System. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide a clear perspective to the students in formulating, implementing and evaluating corporate strategy. The students are trained in the class room to take decisions in a virtual corporate boardroom in the classes. The department is well equipped with a laboratory with analytical software packages like SPSS, Tally and AMOS. Our college and department library contains 1589 volumes and 547 titles of book for management studies along with 15 International and 15 National journals. All the class rooms are equipped with LCD projectors for effective learning purpose. Blooming Of Outstanding Managers (BOOM) is the students’ association from the department of management studies. The association plays an active role in organizing guest lectures, panel discussions, seminars, conferences, management meets, and factory visits. The associations encompasses marketing club (SUM), Finance club (FEFI) and human resource club (AHEAD) for training the students in specialized functional areas. The department is an annual member of Madurai management Association (MMA), thus providing a bridge between the corporate sector and the Institution. We are proud to state that our students are continuously getting several prizes at various management meets, seminars and conferences.
